My Trip to Chicago (& Detroit) [Lots of Pics!!] :D

Hi everyone! The past Saturday - Monday I went on a trip to Chicago & Detroit with my mom on one of those coach buses
It was SO much fun. We visited the Henry Ford Museum, went to the Shedd Aquarium, went up to the John Hancock Tower, went shopping & alot more hehe.
Anyways..I took alot of pics. I won't be posting them all because there would be too much. I'll show you guys some though.

I'm pretty sure the building to the right is the ACC; Air Canada Centre. The building up front is the Royal York Hotel.


Crossing the bridge to the Canada/US border to Michigan.

At our first hotel; the Hilton Garden Inn

Then the next morning we drove to Downtown Chicago. The city is seriously FULL of beautiful skyscrapers!

Then we went to the Shedd Aquarium. It was so fun, I loved the whales there. The belugas were SOOO cute!!

Next, we went on this Architectural Boat Cruise. It brought us around the city in a boat along the river, showing us the buildings & everything

^^ I loved those two. The bottom were parking spaces for cars, & below that were parking spaces for boats.

Then we went on top of the John Hancock Building. I THINK thats the second tallest building in Chicago. We weren't allowed on the Sears Tower

This place is a small village thing with houses & shops like the ones in Holland. The style is like it.



The next night, we went to a Casino & Resort to stay at called the Soaring Eagle. It was the best hotel I've ever stayed at! It was HUGE. Clickk --That would be the site for it hehe

This is a very small part of the front of it. I couldn't get a better shot


^^This is at a place called Frankenmuth, where the streets were like Germany houses. That building is called the Bavarian Inn. We went down there to their shops.

Then we went to a place called Christmas Wonderland. Its a HUGE store open 361 days a year selling all Christmas stuff.

Don't feel bad. I've lived here my whole life and I've never been to the top of the Sears Tower. Great pics!

OMG! Those whales are ADORABLE!!!!! Awww! I want one.

Why weren't you allowed in the Sears Tower? The view is SO amazing from up there.
