It's only free for 30 days. Better make lots of things!

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
I miss you
I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.
Fur as dark as the night.
Join me on this flight.
Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

Can you save things with this trial? I downloaded a trial once and couldn't save anything...
My babies: Josie, Zeke, Kiba, Shadow (AKA Butter)
You could try ScreenCapping your saved stuff if it wont allow you to save it..
to ScreenCap it,, you press the Print Screen (SysRq) key. paste it crop the stuff you dont want out,, and save it that way.
unless you made something animated... then ScreenCapping is no use.

if your talking about a free version of the actual program
thats not a trial. then there is no such thing,, unless its an illegal copy.
You could try for Paintshop Pro at http://jasc.com
It's also a 30 day trial period, but it'll let you save. I used to have an older version that had a little bug in it so that if you set the computer's clock back to a date covered by that trial period, it would keep working. That was a few years ago, so they might've fixed that bug by now.
I have both PSP and Photoshop. I personally perfer Photoshop as you can do more with it and there are tons and tons of plugins and add-ons you can get. Some are even free.
If you need it mainly for graphics you want to present on the screen (not for professional printing), then Photoshop Elements may be the right thing to use. It is much much cheaper than Photoshop but has most of its options. (Here Photoshop is like 1000 Euro and Photoshop Elements around 50).
