    Dog Groups

After watching the Eukanuba Tournament of Champions and looking forward to Westminster, I was just curious on peoples' favorite group of dogs.

I would chose all of the above, but I'm going to make it hard on us and make us just pick one.

That was so hard to pick just one! I was undecided between herding and sporting. My dog Scout is B. Collie & Lab, so she is both.

I finally went with the herding group- after seeing flim clips of them herding sheep, etc. ............it was so interesting, and such smart dogs.

Wow.....This is a hard choice. I love them ALL !!!

Oh, is the GSD classified as herding or working dog ?

Anyway, I wanted to vote for both groups. Liz.

I think I have two or three favorite breeds in every group. The working and herding have got to be the most impressive with their dedication to their guardian and the incentive to do good, yet when one sees some of the sporting dogs work, they can't be far behind. Then there are the dear little toys, so sweet, to cute so cuddly, and so entertaining. But I can't help but put my mark down for those independent, strong willed, take it or leave it terriers.

Well I must confess to voting along the lines of pet ownership even though there are lots of breeds that I love. My vote went to Non-Sporting where you would find none other than the wonderful standard poodle!

I had to vote for Herding because my favorite breed, the GSD, is in the Herding group. Neat idea, aly!
