    Unless there is a miracle......

I might not be around for a few days and I will miss you !!!

Helen and I are headed for Charleston, SC in the morning, where Helen will participate as a member of the SC All State Elementary Honors Chorus. They practice on Thursday, Friday and perform on Sat. Then we're headed to my parent's house to celebrate my dad's 70th birthday. We are looking forward to all of it, but mostly to getting back home to be with Honey, Lilly, Mimi, Butter, Olivia and Roger. I absolutely hate to leave them all! Roger is headed back to the place we bought him, so he will be properly socialized. Just hope he doesn't forget us. And our petsitter is coming to take care of everyone else. Of course its rainy and cold.....28 tonight and pouring down rain. No snow, no ice, thank goodness.....but yucky. Our girls are very happy inside, thank goodness, because that is where they will be!

Have a great end of your week everyone!

All State Chorus -- awesome, Helen! That takes a good voice, better musicianship, and lots of practice before the audition. Hope you and your mom have a great time at the chorus event and at your grandfather's birthday party.

I hope your trip is safe despite the cold, wet weather.

Logan, first and foremost...safe travels to you and Helen!

Hope your Dad's 70th is fun! Hope he has a great time! Wow! 70! God bless him!

Congratulations to Helen for making the Honors Chorus! That's wonderful! I have seen her pictures that you have posted, and well, she's a beautiful child, but you already know that.

I'm sure your babies will be fine and little Roger won't forget you and Helen, how could he?

Have a wonderful time, and we will speak (type) soon!

    Lotsa love,
    Thelma, Elvis,
    Danny and Yertle

Many thanks to Kay for the fabulous sig!

My dad is the youngest 70 year old you will ever know!!! And I am blessed that we have him around. Do you know that he has come up here on more than one occasion to stay with Helen, alone?? How many grandfathers would do that, without the grandmother to come along. My mother is so busy with her swans at Swan Lake in their hometown and her Master Gardeners and writing her article for the local newspaper, that she just doesn't always find it easy to get away, but my dad does, whenever necessary!!

We will take lots of pictures this weekend, not only of Dad celebrating his birthday, but also of Darcy, Scout and the rest of the family, and gladly share them with all of you.

    Thanks everyone!!

    Logan

Have a good, safe trip and HUGE congratulations to Helen.

You must be so very proud of her!

Even though we hate to admit it - usually our furbabies are alright when we return - and VERY glad you are back home.

Have fun at the birthday party too - what a special grandfather to Helen he must be. A memory she will have for the rest of her life and so important.

Let us know about Roger when you get back - how is he doing?
