First of all, I can't believe I "read them right" and was able to get this video. Ok, on with the story.

I got home from work and Terry is out of town again, so Jack is being extra silly because he's happy somebody is home. So I'm doing whatever and I hear a hiss in the bedroom. Not too concerned, I walk into the bedroom and see this.


Seeing this right after hearing a hiss indicates to me that Peanut is nearby and Jack is trying to lure her in with his cuteness. So I look behind the bed and see this - Peanut making sure the A/C monster stays behind the grate.


So I get the camera and lay back on the bed and wait. Camera times out and shuts itself off. I turn it back on and wait. Ah-ha, Jack makes a move and goes running behind the recliner. Peanut looks up and we both wait, then he strikes!

I should have kept the camera on Jack, but I didn't know who to follow so I just turned it off. So by the time I get the camera turned off and turn around on the bed (not even a minute goes by) and I see this.


So I turn back to see what Peanut's doing, and I see this.


She was evidently more concerned about the goofy A/C monster.....

I put the video into double slo-mo so I could see just who was bapping who. Pretty funny. Oh, and notice how funny the hiss sounds in slo-mo, and you can see how Jack looks up at me and then takes off running the other way. He knows he's not supposed to be attacking Peanut like this, but we all know by now that it's nothing serious so I just laugh and he shows his belly.

Then I took one more video of Jack. He is just such a silly boy.

What an exciting boxing match! Groucho and my son box quite often. No direct contact, they just swat at each other until Groucho lays down on his back and plays dead with all four paws straight up. But somehow Groucho always considers himself the winner. As for Cracker Jack, please, please, please rub that tummy for me?!?

I watched the slo-mo one in extremely slo-mo, pausing it at every screen to see who struck the first blow. From what I could tell they both struck at exactly the same moment! I was thinking that all Jack did was jump out at Peanut and she struck first, but now I see that's not the case. I think they are just too funny in how they are perfectly fine one second, the next second there's a boxing match and hissing and the very next second they're perfectly fine again! Who can keep it all straight?

Little bit of a role reversal going on right now. Jack is up on the back of the couch, fast asleep on his banky (his favorite spot in the evenings) and Peanut is on the floor - belly up. She hasn't done that in a long time.

Oh, and for those who've put up with all my complaining, I'M DONE WITH MY PAPER!!! Can you believe it? I can't.

OK Debbie, so the first video I'm watching saying "Man she said this is a vidoe of a boxing match...yeah rihgt" and then out flies CJ. Then I watched the second video in slow-mo and could not stop laughing.
