T&P, I love chorizo! When I lived in Texas, all the Chevrons had the Hispanic women cooking up eggs and such to go in breakfast burritos. That's how I discovered it. I would get eggs, potatoes and chorizo in mine. I still miss that and it's been almost 10 years. I really don't know why Florida doesn't do this since we have so many Hispanics. I also wonder if they still do it in Texas?

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

Fur as dark as the night.
    Join me on this flight.
Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.
    [/SIZE]

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

Congrats Corinna! Nice feeling, isn't it???

Well, I've had a long day and I've only been home for about 20 min. I'm just going to grab a sushie and relax a bit before making dinner.

One of these days my life HAS to slow down! Maybe not until July though.

One good thing though....I got my income tax refund in the mail. Yeah....I few more tuppence to put in my travel fund.

G'day everyone, just popping in for a quick beer. Though I might have something stronger, a trip to the dentist has left me a bit frazzled.

Hhhmmmmmm.............Kippers...............It's been so long since I've had a good kipper. (Carole doesn't like me having them, too stinky apparently ) so I think I will join Karen having a kipper. Errr, you can keep the haggis.

Kippers, herring, cod... poison anchovies YECH. Almost any other seafood and I'm THERE. I'll even eat calimari (squid) if it's cooked properly and has butter and garlic on it. Well, I would even eat rubber bands if you put butter and garlic on it . Gini gets back on Sunday so how can we combine a Mexican Irish meal with drinks for the occasion? Oh, such a dilemma Happy Friday everyone!

Yes knowing every night where you will be laying your head down at is indeed a great feeling. Not having to get rid of any of the kids to do it was even a better plus.
Although I'm afraid Merlin has had a huge set back on his health Not sure he is going to make it back from this one. Working on it but just not sure.
I'm off to work , only onee more week until we open for the maddness of tourist season.
Mario , make sure that every one gets aslushie on me to day.

That's one of my favs though I've never had it any way other than breaded.

Hate to *drool* and run ( ) but I've got a term paper due at midnight and, believe me, I'll be pushin' the deadline.

On Monday this semester is COMPLETE!!! (And not a moment too soon!)

I was thinking a big batch of spicy irish stew would be ok for Gini. Wash that down with a margaritta and top it off with a guiness.

It's a bit early for me being saturday now, so think I'll just grab a nother cup of tea, oh and maybe another kipper that everyone loves so much.

Merlin will be in my thoughts this weekend Corrina.

I was into the thread until SOMEONE mentioned ground beef tacos.... ..

I think a side trip to one of the local taco shops is in order...

Chorizo con huevos, frijoles con queso and warm corn tortillas...

Chorizo and eggs, beans with some sharp cheese....

    MY day is made.......
    How is everyone today??

Happy Mothers Day to all us "muvvas"! Wouldn't you know that the first person to say that to me was the "bad" step-grandson Travis when he walked in at 7:30 this morning he came into the living room with his puppy eyes and gave me a hug. Go figure. Am I supposed to cook today? I think I'll just have another coffee & Kaluah and thunk about it somemore. Oh by the way, today is also VE Day, Victory in Europe. Then there's VJ Day, Victory in Japan. Good thing we never fought Denmark
