I love the way Balthazar is gentle with the baby. He really is a Gentle Giant...maybe that could be another caption.

Now this is what they call a BIG dog! But Balthazar is more than just a beautiful body. The B. dog is going to be a loving protector for his human sister, and I don't think your family needs to have any other security system. Obviously Balthazar is rather indulgent of having a comedian for a Dad. Contrats Balthazar on today's honor and your happy family!

He is a big dog!!! But I love him already, especially since he is so gentle with the baby. That's so important!

I think if there is a King of the Kingdom, this dog might be it!!!

Great photo! Gentle Giant is definitly the term I would use to describe Balthazer. Pam, "Whassssuppppp!" is the first thing I thought of too

Huge Congratulations Big Boy!! I guess it's all been said! My first thought was "Gentle Giant" too. What a warm, sweet, protective and very loving companion "B" will be to his little "sister!" He is 1.5 times the size of me. I'd have to hope he wasn't a jumper.

Poor thing, I keep talking about how huge he is. Of course, he also seems like a wonderful dog.
