jealous dog

have a dog that is sheltie and shepard, is 7 years old. When we have company over, he either tears his bed apart or pees all over the floor when he stays. Can you help

You're saying that the dog is jealous of the company? It sounds more like he is anxious, to me. Having sheltie in him, it would make sense if he was a bit anxious when strangers are around. Are you sure this isn't the case?
