Bandit back to Vet

I took Bandit back to vet re: his dehydration and weight loss. He was given fluids under his skin again for the dehydration and pepcid a/c and another medication for his vomiting. After a GI series, it was determined he has a hiatal hernia. We're trying to treat it medically with the aforementioned medication as well as 5 very small meals a day. If this doesn't work, we'll have to see about getting it repaired surgically. I sincerely hope that doesn't become necessary.

I'm relatively new here, but it is so terrible when one of the fur kids aren't feeling well. I hope all goes well for you and Bandit and that surgical procedures can be avoided. Keep us posted, thoughts are with you.
