Whats the matter?

Hello everyone and im a little curious about something. you see my dog is always so cranky and when he sleeps or when he is a corner or you bother him to much he gets really mad and raises his top lip and shows his teeth and growls and then if you get closer he BITES and does this screeching barking thing and hes bit me a lot of times and has bit my other dog and i don't know why hes like that.........what is the matter with him????????????????

Have you taken him to the vet? Maybe he's in some sort of pain like arthritis that makes him extra-cranky? Has he been socialized since he was a pup? Does he get a lot of attention when he's awake and active? How do you react when he bites you? What kind of dog is he? How long have you had him?

Sounds to me like he's hurting. Dogs and Cats will lash out if they're in pain

Either he has a physical problem or he is being way to possessive of his stuff.

Well Bijou is a Shih-Tzu and is about the size of a baby and when he is around people hes all excited and when he is playing he isn't usually mean but yesterday my dogs were playing and pontouf my other shih=tzu i dunno maybe hurt him so he got mad and he went strainght at her and made a scream bark and just bit her and she was yelping when we take him to the vet the vet says that theres nothing wrong with him so my parents say to just when he raises his lip that is a sign to back off my unfortunetly my other dog doesn't understand that so what shou ld i do???????? oh yeha you asked me what do i do when he bites i yell BAD DOG and tap his nose and he goes in his corner and he knows he did wrong but if you try to get clse to him after you bit him i swear he will bite your head off!!!
