    How do you eat sunflower seeds?

    While Amy and I were eating sunflower seeds the past few days - she's been making fun of me for eating the shell and all.
    I personally think it's a waste to just eat the seed and discard the shell. The shell is what has all of the flavor, plus it's crunchy goodness. I chew them up completely and then swallow.

    Amy looks like a fool while picking the shell out of her mouth and having to discard it somewhere.

    Anywho, How does everyone else eat it? Are there any "weirdos" like me out there?

    I LOVE sunflower seeds. When I'm bored I take the shell off- it is a bit of a time waster ( I know.... I have no life ) but I do enjoy eating the shell.

    I eat the shells more than the seeds. I like the pre-shelled honey roasted most.

    you take a bunch and stuff them in your mouth.

    You cringe at all the salt, move them around in your cheeks, like a chipmuck, then use your tongue to position one into place,
    crack the shell with your teeth, spit the shell out and then eat the seed.

    I shell them my self and I only eat seeds..I´ve tried eating all, but then my stomach didnt feel well lol

    I only eat the seed and spit the shell out. My husband eats the whole thing.
