HELP!!!..anyone familiar with posting pics w/o attachments??..(i have a mac computer)

ok i have uploaded my pics to imagestation and tried pasting a pic address into PT reply box, but it just gives a link to that pic and i want to post pic w/o link or attachment...anyone???...

You have,to go,to the bottom line,under the Photo.where it says img,Right Click,until it turns blue.Then left click,and choose copy.Then,go,to you thread,and left chick,and choose paste.Then write,waht you will,and press submit.Dont worry,as it took,me three phone calls,until I caught on.

Right-click means nothin' to a Mac person!

(Been using Macs since 1984 myself!)

Find out the URL of the image - it should start with http:// and end with .jpg. You can find this on a Mac by holding down the Control key as you click on the image, then choose "copy link to clipboard" from the list that pops up. If you aren;t in OS X, it's Command (the little apple key) instead of control.

Then, type [img ] but without the space, "paste" the URL you just copied in and then right after the ".jpg" part, type [/i mg] again without the space.

That'll do it!

Another Mac person here! I can't really help with Imagestation, though. With Photobucket, there are three different URL's under each picture. One of them already has the [img] tags on it, so it can just be copied and pasted into your post.

I also use the IMG button (in the row of buttons above the box you type in when you're in Post Reply) which pops up a dialogue box that you just paste the URL into and click OK - it puts in the correct tags for you. Confusing enuff?

Great pics, I new you would get the hang of it mate. You can also resize pics on photobucket. Just hit the edit button on the top of each pic and it will enable you to resize.
