Senior Boxer mix needs a home

I got this email from the Volunteer Coordinator at our local humane soceity today...

We currently have a sweet 10 year old Boxer mix named "Sandy" at TAHS.
She was abandoned in a house for several weeks without food, water or
human companionship. The Humane Officers carried her out to the safety
and caring arms of TAHS.

Her back legs are a bit weak, but she is improving every day. She's a
very smart girl who knows how to "sit", "down", "stay" and "come", but
she follows hand signals because we believe she is deaf.

Unfortunately, Sandy is still looking for a home I went out and met her today, and she is very sweet. However she does bark in her kennel, and I don't know hoe many people understand that a kennel is a more stressful situation, and she probablly really isn't that barky. She is also now onthe webpage...here's her picture..




They had some other very sweet dogs too. One of my favorites is not listed on their page. Her name is Ruby and she is a 1 yr old boxer/spaniel mix. Way too cute!! Black and white (of course!), and a black patch over her left eye and ear (opposite side that Spot has the same marking). Her right her has a black tip, and she has a black circle in the middle of her head. She also has two black patches on her rear end, one just above the tail, and one at the top of her tail. Otherwise she is white, with light black spots. And a wiggle butt!!! Just a sweet, sweet girl.

Another sweet girl is Bailey, a 2 yr old cute little beagle mix


And Patreese, a choc lab mix. She has a total lab face, and a total basset body. Just adorable!! Wish I could take them all home!!!
