    Hobo the house dog..pics

Hobo does love his dog houses, especially since the snow is off of a few of them now. Much better view from up there!

Supervising while the other dogs play chase. He doesn't really play chase except with a couple of his favorite dogs.

Taking a break. Supervising is very hard work!

"i am not getting down Earle, there are 20 more houses in the yard, go get on a different one!"

Who could be grumpy looking at this happy, little face?

It's tiring watching the whole yard all day. Time for a nap with his special friend, Sleet.

Great pictures! Hobo looks like a sweetheart! I think Earle just likes to be in pictures...The picture of him standing next to Hobo reminds me of the one of him standing next to his dad waiting for the bone....Earle is a camera hog!!

Excellent photos!! I just love your dogs. Nice to see it warming up. It was warm here, but for the last couple of days it's been snowing.

It was the best decision for Karen and her dogs. The trail is in awful shape. Sibes aren't meant to run in temps that warm and who would have thought to pack rain gear on the Iditarod! Karen dropped more dogs this year than ever before. The trail was rough on their shoulders and wrists. She was looking at dropping another one who potentially had pneumonia. She's a great musher and her dogs always come first, so really she had no choice but to scratch.

Iknow is looked at the trail pictures It was terriable . I know it was a hard desicion for all who did scratch. There were so many this year .One bright spot only one dog lost its lfe this year so far. Down from 2 last year(for those who think this kills lots of dog) I felt bad that the blind gal Rachael had to scratch she made it almost 3/4 of the way.
