In my guinea pig's cage we have:
an igloo
water bottle
food bowl
shelf
veggie basket
Do they do anything else, like for fun? Is there something I can put in his cage that he will like to do when he's bored?

I have cat toys with bells in them for Squishy, he seems to like them, and in the summer I put a frozen water bottle in there for him.

I believe Guinea Pigs enjoy the plastic tubes you can buy. I think they're made for ferrets, but good size for piggies, too. Make a long tunnel and they'll have fun with that. Toys to bat around, like a cat would do, might also be good. I don't know if piggies are like rats at all, but maybe some boxes and blankies to snuggle up in?

ooo I forgot boxes and blankets! I like to cut holes and shoe boxes and connect them together, be careful about the tunnels though, piggies tend to get stuck if there not big enough!
edit: http://www.cavycages.com/toys.htm they show you which toys you can make.

Boxes and blankets are a good idea. Just make sure he still has alot of room to run around in once you fill his cage up, hehe. Along with that CavyCages website, you might also wanna check out http://www.guinealynx.com/ They have a forum on there also with alot of very knowledgeable Cavy owners.
Also, if you have one of those running balls for your Guinea pig, you may want to get rid of that because pigs can injure their legs in those and that wouldn't be a good thing.
