    How long is the usual wait to be "of the day"?

    I just now sent in a photo of one of my cats for nomination for cat of the day. I was wondering if anyone knows the usual waiting period? Thank you.

    There isn't any "usual" waiting period. It varies.

    i have been waiting for 7 months...i guess the deli was not pretty enough...i am not sure what the qualifications are...when i entered her on the pet channel she was pet of the day in 3 days....the deli dog!!!!!!

    The wait doesn't mean anything! Don't be discouraged - once nominated a pet is a candidate. They don't "expire" from eligibility after a number of months or anything, and it certainly is not a reflcetion on a certain pet's looks or anything.
