    How does your name rank?

    http://babynamewizard.com/namevoyager/lnv0105.html

LOL, I've been amusing myself with this. The slower you type a name, the more names it brings up.

The closest to mine was Mickie. The most popular period for that spelling of my name was in the 40's - the 60's.

My name, which is actually a nickname, was most popular in the 1980's as a boy's name. It didn't even rank as a girl's name.

That was really interesting. My name didn't even rank when I typed in Jayna as a whole. However, when I typed in Jay, there were plenty of names that were popular throughout several decades with that same Jay beginning. When I put in Jayn, the closest was Jayne, popular through the 40s-60s. I guess I have an unusual name. My husband's name, Brent, by comparison, was very popular in the 70s and 80s, and he was born right in the mid-70s.

My mom's name, dad's name, and brothers' names all fell into being most popular during the time frame in which each was born, as well as my in-laws' names and my grandparents' names, etc. I guess I'm the oddball.

Thanks to krazyaboutkatz for the cute avatar and wolf_Q for the cute siggy!

Rest in Peace, sweet Leo. You are sorely missed!
Since I last posted, we have another new addition - Tabitha, as of fall 2008.
