Ligers, Zonkeys and Mules, Oh my! :)

Today in Biology my teacher confirmed that ligers are real. (Ligers are a cross of Tigers and lions) I didn't know that. and there are Tigons (Tigon-A cat born to a tiger father and a lion mother is known as a Tigon) they're sooo cool! I'll post some pics I googled. But Zonkeys are the best! A mix between and Donkey and a Zebra, they're really cute! And mules, I feel stupid, I didn't know that they were a mix of Horses and Donkeys...gosh...things I learn....anyway here are pics

That's a liger. look, it has strips!! Ligers are the largest cats in the world. All ligers are born sterile, so they can't breed I think they're so adorable!!

    here's a zonkey..hahaha I love this picture!!

    I want a zonkey!

anyway, I just thought that was awesome!!

OK, totally thought the Liger was something that Napoleon Dynamite made up--even better that it's a real animal

Yep, they sure are. A mule is produced when you cross a male donkey (jack) with a female horse (mare). Mules cannot reproduce either- isn't that odd!! If you cross a female donkey (jenny) with a male horse (stallion) it is called a Hinny not a mule.

I'm pretty positive that is false. It is not possible for a rabbit and a cat to breed together.

A lion and a tiger yeah, they are both felines....but a cat and a rabbit? No.
