    Pictures of Maggie's mouth, after getting her stitches...

    I thought I would post some pictures of Maggies mouth, from after she got home from the vet after being kicked in the head by our horse. She tore her lip off of her teeth, and they drilled holes in her jaw to anchor it back on, then stitched it...

    Sorry they arent the best, i didnt want to hurt her when taking the pictures

    Get well soon Maggie. Ouch that does look painful, i hope she heals up real quickly. I will keep Maggie in my thoughts.

    awww, poor Maggie! ^_^ I'm sure she will give the horses a lot more space now. I hope she heals up well, she's really lucky her teeth didn't get knocked out

    That looks painful, but it looks like all will heal ok. Remember, a kick from a horse could have been much worse!! Glad she's all fixed up and here's to a full recovery!

    Maggie, that looks so painful. I'm glad that all is well and that you should have a full recovery. Now do me a favor and stay away from those horses!!

    I have to say she looks much better than I'd imagined. I was dreading opening this thread, but it looks like your vet did a awesome job with her!
    I'm so glad she's ok and and is healing nicely!
