    I'm a new Mommy! :D

    My newest little one.

    A New Caledonian crested gecko!



    Haven't decided on a name yet. Any suggestions?

    The obsession first happened when my friend Jessica was in town last year. We fell in love with the Leopard geckos. Since then I've been wanting to get one. Andy too thought they were cute. So I got a book on geckos to see which would be the best for us. I had it narrowed down to a few kinds and this past weekend went to Petco and chatted with one of the employees. He told me the pros and cons of each and said it came down to how much time and dedication I wanted to put into it as well as cost. He pulled out the crested gecko and I fell in love!

    He's settled in nicely.

    His name should end in TH sence he looks like a dragon Or you could give him a Dragonriders name- M'hall, M'dani, K'vin, Flar, etc.

    I think you should name him Sith. (M'leng's dragon in On Dragon's Wings) I always liked the name Path, wasn't she a green dragon? Hmm, Meranth, Charanth, Ormonth. The options are endless! LOL.

    What a beautiful gecko!!! Gosh I just love him. I have always loved how geckos look. Congratulations on the new addition!

    You know, you mentioned dragon names. In one of the fantasy novels I read, the word Dracarys meant dragonfire. Always thought it'd be a neat name for something.

    Ohhh, he's very cute! I love lizards! My son had an iguana for quite a few years, he named him Fafner, after a Norse legend. (I don't remember which one) Fafner was turned into a dragon after stealing a secret ring of power from his father. I think the name means "dragon-blood"

    What is the dragon's name who discovers they can use telekinesis?? She is a legond! I still think it is funny when one of the golds says "I never thought I would learn something from a green"

    Maybe you could name your little one after her? Since all the names end in TH no one will know it was ment to be a girl name!
