    <sniff,sniff>

    "Tubby" arrived yesterday.

    As most of you might know, Bunny (Catsnclay) makes wonderful ceramic cat items (candle holders, food dishes, pencil holders, etc.) After Tubby died, she PM'd me saying she wanted to make me a "Tubby" and after a few discussions we agreed on an urn with a place for a candle. I really didn't know what to expect, but "Tubby" arrived yesterday and he is perfect!

    The whole thing is maybe about 10" tall and he has angel wings and on the base is the place for the candle and it says Tubby 1986-2004. She even got his little white goatee in the right spot.

    He is beautiful, Bunny, thank you so so very much. I will cherish him forever.

    And the spot on the shelf is not where he will be for good. I will have to reorganize his "memorial" spot on the top shelf but didn't have time last night.

    Oh Debbie that is gorgeous! It's so sad and yet so wonderful that Catsnclay did that for you. What a precious and treasured item to always have with you.

    Beautiful, absolutely beautiful!

    That is a precious memorial!

    Catsnclay was so sweet to make this and it is beautiful. I do miss Tubby and this post made me cry.

    There is so much going on right now at PT that emotions are really stirring. We have so many wonderful people here - I am glad to be part of it all.

    Debbie - that really is wonderful and I know it was bittersweet to unwrap it. Thank you for showing it to us!!

    Oh dear, just when I thought my tears had stopped. What a beautiful gift. Bunny, you are very talented. I used to do ceramics until about a year ago.

    RIP Tubster...not a day goes by that I don't think about you.
    Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!
