good for you! I always thought there should be some kind of guinea pig shelter, but I am too busy with my horse. what exactly do you do?

Hey Heather. Its Rachel (paint_horse89). We are starting out fpstering GPs that are in need of a home. We have 1 guinea pig that are available for adoption. We had 3 but the other 2 have already been adopted. We are also breeding our own guinea pigs to adopt them out. The one that is available for adoption will be ready March 21 and will be 4 weeks old. He/she (can't tell yet) is tortoiseshell and white (calico) and is the runt of the litter. He is the liveliest, the most playful, and makes the most noise. Every time I put them on the bed he takes off to find a new place to go. He will make a great pet. He is also the first one to try GP pellets and drink from the water bottle. If you are interested in adopting him I may be able to send you pics and if it longer then a couple of hourse then I will not send it by flight. Thanks.

no, we are taking in guinea pigs of all ages because some people want guinea pig pups, but some want an older, more mature piggie.

Good for you! I never really thought anyone would start a guinea pig rescue, but you proved me wrong! I hope you can find good people to take guinea pigs and even if they aren't young, oh well. Everything should be loved and I have a feeling you'll give it just that.
