    Oh yeah....I forgot these.

These 2 are in the process of making their way here to me. A lady contacted One by One hoping we could help her with 2 strays that showed up LAST winter! I said, I could take them after they go through the vet.

She has been trying to place them for a while and made a poster to advertize them.

This is the e-mail she sent us

I wonder if you could help me? I have 2 stray cats living outside my house
& I have been trying to find homes for them for months. Now, with the
temps as bad as they are I am really worried about these two. The one is a
Male tabby short hair, very sweet & friendly. I believe he was once an
indoor cat. The other is a female long hair black & white. She was shy at
first, but has become very affectionate. I try to help them as much as I
can - I feed them & have created 2 boxes for them to live in. But, with it
being so cold, I would dearly love to get these guys into something
better. What I am looking for is a No-Kill shelter, they are too sweet to
kill! Unfortunately I cannot take them into my house, but I know they
would make great pets. Would your shelter be able to take them or would
you know of any place I could take them so they would be safe & warm? I
hate seeing them outside on days & nights like today. I would be willing
to donate food or money to hopefully help these cats. Please let me know
if you can help me. Thank You!!

I think they are adorable and would be pleased to foster them......especially if catnapper takes to 2 babies (no pressure, Kim)

    That does bring tears,to my eyes,as those poor Cats,homeless,because,of someones not spaying,and neutering,and if the government,was smart,they would subsidize spaying,and neutering,and as in the Case,of San Fransico,eliminate a lot,of unwanted Strays.

Oreo has temporarily eluded capture. Which is BAD because a blizzard is heading our way

Sneakers is safe at the vet's but with a HORRIBLE URI! And, unfortunately has tested positive for FIV. Very sad as this will make him so much less likely to be adopted.

This is sad, but at least Sneakers has a better chance now than before! Hopefully Oreo can be captured and be safe.
Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers
