Can you feed a beta fish regular fish food?

Okay our beta fish food spilt or something, like 2 days ago. Our fish havent been able to eat because we dont have food for them and havent had the chance to get some. I was wondering if you could feed Beta fish regular fish food crumpled up, would that hurt them?

I'm not sure if you CAN or not, but I do know that Bettas don't really like flake food.

Mine refuses to touch it. I have neons in the aquarium with him, so I feed them flakes and feed him pellets or bloodworms.

All of the betta's I've ever had want NOTHING to do with flakes! I don't see how regular fish food would hurt them if you only gave it to him a couple times but try and get betta food ASAP.
