The pulley/trolley system is more fail-safe than the
Invisible Fence is! I've seen dogs who normally mind their
Invisible Fence just dash through it when something really
*exciting* is happening on the "other side"!

When you're designing / laying the trolley out -
be sure to Stretch Test it to be certain she can't
jump up and get any part of her paws or body over the
top of the fence!

If the pulley needs to be "stopped" before it gets to the
end of the cable run - use an extra "wire rope CLIP" attached
to the main cable to stop the pulley short of the end.

Oh Angie I know all too well about problems with fences. You spend thousands of dollars and think you're all set. Ha! Then enter a few neighbors. We've had problems with neighbors dogs on one side of us and behind us. If you recall I had problems with my neighbors grandson (who's now living there) And I too have to sit and wait for my dogs to go out sometimes. In my own yard! And I'm the one who has the fence!
Right now I'm not having much trouble because both dogs are leashed. (yes in a fenced in yard ) Mandy has to stay leashed and Lacey at least until spring because of her leg. And then we'll be back to the same problems!
Sorry I can't add much but it looks like people are giving you some good advice, I hope you can work something out!
