Nominations for Thread of the year 2004!

We’ll start early this year. Let’s see which are your favourite threads of 2004!

I suggest you each post the titles, and possibly a link to the thread(s) you think are the best – up to 5 titles.

The closing date for nominations is January 17th, that will give you about 2 weeks to find the threads you want to nominate, and post them. Enjoy searching!

Here are the Winner threads of the year 2003!

Note: The thread you nominate, has to have been started in 2004!

    Any questions, just ask!

    Magoo?
    Feline Kruz?
    Purrno?
    Cat-a-lympics?

How to choose? And I've just started to remember all the different ones. Some made me cry, some laugh.. boy, this is going to be tough But I love them all! Is this what they call "Tough Love"

I think this is just the nomination thread. The poll is the next step. Allthough I cannot think of any better threads?

Don't misunderstand, didn't mean to insinuate that anyone (or I) should choose yet. Just meant if those are just the first several threads to be thought of it will be nearly imposible to pick just one

I know it would be more work to break it down into categories...

How's about an 'Oscar' style set of categories?

The thread that has stuck in my mind was the thread about Bob the cat.....I have thought about him quite often....

Yes, it's a hard choice, but only 10 can go into a poll, so the ones with most nominations will make it there. Think of this as just guidelines of what members like to read - we don't have to take it that seriously. However, the threads nominated the previous years were all great, and in my opinion, newcomers should read these before joining, to get an idea of what PT is all about and keep up the high standard.

You can each nominate up to 5 threads and you have a few weeks to choose, so I'm sure you'll find some good ones.

Richard, breaking the categories up like in The Oscar's could be done, but I doubt we'd get 10 nominations for each forum - well, maybe. I won't do it though, but you're welcome to have a go! (perhaps you should do one for Doghouse! )

Your all welcome to post your opinion of this or that thread here, but please let me know if it's a nomination!

I agree with the nominees already:

    Magoo's story

    The cat-olympics

    and the Purrno thread

although any of those would make it VERY difficult to choose just one!
