ROFLMAO!!!! OMD, thanks for the laugh.......
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

Kelly, does David pump water very well?

Can you believe it - it is Thursday and I am still pumping out the basement. It gives you all an idea of how much rain we really got. The ground is saturated!

But, I am grateful I have a basement to pump out - and I say prayers for the people that lost their lives and those who lost their homes in our recent storms.

Now...back to the BBQ (and work!)

If skewl interferes with the BBQ, I will write you a note.

Hi all. I just thought I'd pop in and let you know that I'll also be attending the 3rd annual BBQ this year.
I'll probably be riding down with Karen and Aaron unless I can get a great deal on a flight. I haven't been on a plane since 911 so it might be scary. I'd love to go horseback riding but I haven't done this in years either. This year should be the best BBQ yet.

Oh, I so wish that it was closer to July...........all of the responses are getting me excited.

I hope the Third Annual is the best.........with so many more people coming this year and having a chance to meet........I sure hope that it is.

Yeah, Tracey, maybe you and I can go and "watch" them horseback ride. I have a pretty funny story about the last time I rode a horse.........or was it the horse riding me?

Appies....I'm bringing down some BC smoked salmon. Maybe I can rustle up some cream cheese and toast points....

This sounds as if you were riding down from SF to LA on horseback. That's what we Europeans think you do all the time

(I'm just green of envy that I cannot go )

I'm almost positive I'll be flying in. Have people started commiting to hotels yet?

Alexa and I will be staying in Anaheim. I think we'll stay at the Ramada right by Disneyland. We stayed there last year, it wasn't great but for the price it isn't too bad. It nice to be able to walk to the park instead of dealing with parking there. I think we'll get in Friday night then head up to L.A. on Saturday for the BBQ. Then leaving early on Monday to drive back..
    I've been Defrosted!

Thanks for the great signature Kay!
