Well my dad got a Digital camera for Christmas so I thought I would FINALLY put some pics of my Hobo on here.

About the large size - I did an experiment with the picture above - I put it in my photobucket just like you had it-then went to the picture and click EDIT above the pic, and then select resize by 50% (that is the resize I chose) and it automatically resizes and you can just copy the properties the same way. One thing though - if you happen to resize too small, you can't change back, so be sure and save an original on your HD. But if this is the size your camera takes, then it looks like 50% is a pretty good option
When I upload to photobucket, I always run each picture through paintshoppro (any graphic software will do) first and resize to 500 pixels wide (just the size I prefer) - so that is another option - resizing before you upload. This is helpful IMO because if you take digital at different quality setting - the image will come out different sizes.
