    Misty may have a broken leg..

    we thought it was just a deep wound, but after getting concerned that she cant put any weight on her leg at all we looked more closly, the cut is not bad, but her joint is very swollen, so she is going to the vet tomorow for an x-ray and such, and we will be putting a splint on it till we can get her to the vet. we feel so stupid, locking up and ignoring the injured dog, not realizing she was injured and now realizing that she has all the symtoms of a broken leg please pray for Misty

    Poor Misty. Good luck at the vet's tomorrow, ask for a pretty cast if'n ya get one! (Miss Hoppy went through several colors of cast when she broke her leg many years ago, different color each time!

    So sorry to hear but hoping it's not broken. Prayers to Misty for a fast recovery and not a lot of pain. Bless her heart.

    I know in people, broken bones heal faster and better then strain's and sprains (trust me... I've had them ALL )

    I just hope for the best for her!!

    mistys leg is more swollen today, poor little dear, she keeps wanting to play today too, so I have her leashed so she can still stay with me, and to force her to rest as well. I will update after we go to the vets today.

    Sorry to hear about her. I hope it's not too bad. I know you feel guilty not knowing sooner. Let us know what the vet says.
