my fave breed would have to be the paint, my e-mail addy is [email protected], paint horses aren't raly a breed, more of a color. But I love the all around American Quarter Horse!

Oh finally! a topic about horses! my specialty my favourite breed of horse, is the Quarter Horse. I currently own a sorrel mare named "Miss O Dandy Tip" by papers. sry, but I have no possible way of showing pics.

This is my baby boy Kalico.

He now lives down the road at a riding stable where they have lessons and riding for the disabled. I didn't have the time to ride him and give him the proper exercise and he has always been very social and active so I thought he would be happier staying up there. We visit and he once came home on his own

I also have a two year old Rocky Mountain Saddle horse gelding, named Matastar's Morning Star (by Matastar, out of Candida). He is chestnut with a silvery mane/tail. He loves to play with the big boys (the TBs). He is 14.3hh, may grow a little more? A sweetheart, and I can't wait to ride this gaited boy, but he's too young now! This pic was taken last NOvember, he has grown two inches since then, and his mane has gotten a lot of silver hairs (so it appears flaxen in the pics but it's not so much now)

Now that I told you what kind of horses I have, I will tell you my favorite breeds. My number one breed is the friesian. I also love andalusians and dark overo paints. In the future when I hve my own horse property I will breed my future friesian stud to my future over paint mares.

hi again people! I just got a new horse today she is a 3 year old palomino mare. She is probably going to finish at around 16 hands high. She is a beautiful horse, i'll try to eventually show a picture.

I've never owned a horse. But have taken riding lessons over the years and just adore being in their presence. So nice to hear all you "horse people" talk about your magnificently gorgeous friends. Keep posting your pics!

i've been having some trouble with my new filly everytime she gets a day off and i get on her the next day, i ask her to walk and she starts bucking and goes wild until i fall off and then she stops and goes to eat grass. nothing seems to work, its driving me crazy i've already taken several bad falls. its pretty scary, but i guess its just because shes so young and shes beginning to test me.
