    Horse nipping

My grandpa has a quarter horse/appaloosa mix whom he is willing to give me if i break him in. He is the only male out of the herd. But sometimes he will playfully nip at people. He isn't mean at all. Will neutering help this? Do you have any solutions?

    Thanks

Neutering will not help, even mares nip but I suggest that you get him gelded anyways, because it is easier to train and ride a gelding than a stallion. Unless he constanly bites and kicks at the other horses I wouldn't worry about it, he is probably just playing.
