Congratulations, I have had Chin's and they are great. They do take a little understanding to care for, but I'm sure you know that.

One word of advice if you don't mind, keep her clean and watch her fur. They are proned to having their fur mat up so bad that it can do damage to them.

Oh and something I learned, that you might like to know. Go get a large Betta vase, lean it on it's side and it makes the perfect bath bowl for Chin's. It helps keep the mess down some. Chin bath can get on every inch of your room when they roll around in it. The vase really help keep it contained some.

Hope you don't mind the advice, just trying to help.

Enjoy your Chin...........as I know you will.

At a sanctuary where I interned, we used industrial size mayonnaise jars for this purpose! LOL! You will probably want something smaller for a young chin, but it's very useful if you can get some sort of container that is mostly closed with a small opening at one end. You will soon discover the chinchilla dust can become too expensive and messy if you don't have a mostly enclosed "bath tubbie" for your chin!
Luna is a beautiful name! I bet she is cute as a button!!! Congrats on the new addition!

Many thanks to Roxyluvsme13 & k9krazee for my great new siggy!!
