    Best Friend Doggie Holiday

I know I have not been around much, due to work commitment. However, this weekend just past, John, me and the 2 spotty ones went away for the weekend.

We went here :-> Best Friend

It was recommended by a friend who knows how much I love the pups! She and her husband went there a few months ago, and raved about it!
They have 5 enclosed HUGE dog run and play areas. Each area has a large bin full of toys for the dogs to play with, dog tidy bins and bags everywhere. If you are inside one of the runs, no-one may come in unless you say it is OK. BUT, because there are so many runs, no-one has to share ......

2 of the main runs were on a hill - so the pups ran up and down, and up and down .......... whilst I walked up and down too. I certainly got alot of exercise!

    Anyway,

    We stayed on ......

Here is John sitting on the deck and the pups wondering why I am on the other side of the fence ...

    The kids closer

There were plenty of birds and bunnies .......... and they share the bird seed .......

The bird life right outside our deck ... WOW

    and again

Just ONE of the runs - about 1 acre!!!

    ....... more

It was about 20 minute drive to a beautiful doggie friendly beach ..... my beautiful Ruby .... and the tired Captain .... precious

Run, run, run ................. notice how many paws are in the AIR HERE!!!!!

Come on - chase me .......

    Almost caught .....

Captain is hysterical. He really does not like water, but will chase Ruby into it, and try to keep her there .....

This stream ran all along the 10km road we drove up to get to the location ............

    Tree ferns .....

Ruby and John just HAD to sit together on the rock in the middle of the stream .... I caught her going up and coming down, but no pics of her sitting next to him ........ because I fell!

    more ........

Wow, that's some gorgeous scenery, and some adorable pups too.

I love those birds. Wish we had some like that around here.

What a neat vacation! Your dogs are so beautiful -just love those spotties! And the birds and scenery. I never thought I wanted to travel so far away but those pictures sure make me think that if I ever travel it will be there! How wonderful! And I just love that last picture - it would make a great drawing.

OMG!!! Those pictures BLEW me away!! They were great!
We need a place like that in the states!! I love to take my dogs camping, but keeping them from getting loose is alway a problem!

I'm sure you'll be going back again soon!!! I know I would if I lived closer!!!
