How Lily is stealing cat food (a story with photos)

Several times during the past days, I noticed the sliding door of the kitchen cabinet (the one behind which I store the cat food) was open, so I wasn't surprised today to see this:

Lily rolling around on the cabinet, and you can see she's up to something:

Here she's trying to open the door. She's very good, it only takes a few seconds (but she almost knocked down the clock):

    Here she is stepping inside:

Exploring what's in it (usually she's stealing Luna's diet food):

But it's no fun when meowmie is taking photos all the time!!

    So she's walking away...

...but still licking her mouth, must have been delicious!

Lily is so cute. Also smart as well being able to open a sliding door to steal some food. She just wants to make sure Luna's food is safe and tasty for Luna to eat. There's no harm in that.

Lily, you're a smart and very pretty girl. Now, if you mom gets a job and works late, you know where the food is!

    Great pics, Kirsten!

All she was doing was quality control check! Didn't you see the list under her foot next to the pencil? Making sure the food is safe for Luna to eat....nothing more.

As you say, it's not always easy to have a kitty that smart!

Jim, no, she did not learn this from Luna! I love my Luna girl, but it's a fact that she's ... ehm, well, let's say... not the brightest, compared to Lily. Luna still believes she needs to dig through a door to open it.

Tenna, I'm sure Lily would love to have Brynja around. I'm not so sure about Luna though... LOL
