    Worried

I just noticed this bump on Teeko's inner left leg before. I'll have to call the vet to make an appointment tomorrow. But it's got me worried. It's about the size of a large pea, not extremly hard but not too soft either. He doesn't seem to be in any pain, he doesn't whimper or tend to it, and if I touch it it doesn't seem to bother him either.

None the less, I am still concerned for my boy.

Oh, I know how upsetting those lumps and bumps are I hope it's nothing more than a sebaceous cyst; it looks like one I had removed from my girl awhile back. I know you're so worried, but try and think positive. Please update us after the vet visit. Lot of prayers on their way for Teeko!!! {{HUGS}}} Sandra

This might help a little with the worrying

Jasper had a bump alot like that on his chest, here is a picture:

It never bothered him at all, he had it removed and tested and it was nothing!

I hope Teeko's turns out the same!!

    Keep us updated

    RIP Jasper. I can't believe you're gone.

Well they took samples of it and placed it on slides. The samples are on the way to the labs to be tested. She told me they will call me within a few days with the results.

Until then, keeping our paws crossed over here. I'll let you know when I hear back from the vet.

I will pray for a good report on Teeko's test results. Let us
know what the Vet finds out, o.k.?

My Peach used to get all kinds of bumps like that. When we had them tested - they were nothing. But I do understand your worry. Praying for good news.

** THE VET CALLED BACK **

I just checked my answering machine and the vet called back!!

The bump is BENIGN! She gave the medical name for it but I couldn't make it out. She said it should go away by itself within 3 months and if it's not gone then she suggests we have it surgically removed.

I'm wondering if it's nothing, why do they have to remove it? Just curious is all.

Thanks for all the support! I am VERY happy now and can rest easy.
