    favorite songs

Ok, I'm listening to music, and, just lovin' it. I've been online all day searching for jobs, and, this is my reward. So, yeah, I wanted to see what y'all's favorite songs might be. I have so many, but, here are some of the ones I have been listening to! Some of these are just ones that take me way back and put me in a good, melancholy, chill kinda mood.

    Sleepwalk (Santo & Johnny)
Don't You Forget About Me (Tears For Fears)
Head over Heels (Tears For Fears)
    Bright Eyes (Art Garfunkel)
    The Last Unicorn (America)
    Say it Ain't So (Weezer)
Walk on the Ocean (Toad the Wet Sprocket)
    Yellow (Coldplay)
    Mona Lisa (Guster)
I Want to Break Free (Queen)
    Devil Inside (INXS)
    Stay (Lisa Loeb)
Say Say Say (Paul McCartney & Michael Jackson)
    Love Song (The Cure)
    Fade Into You (Mazzy Star)
Owner of a Lonely Heart (Yes)
    Barrel of a Gun (Guster)
    Sometimes (Joe Pisapia)
Don't Think Twice, It's All Right (Bob Dylan)
    Redemtion Song (Bob Marley)

Omg, I'm sorry I even started this! Ha ha, I'm just at the computer and I wanted to share some of these songs. Maybe there's one on here someone hasn't heard or something! anyway, these aren't even kinda the tip of the iceberg, they just happen to be in my head right now. And, I'm in a sharing mood!

    Thanks, Dogz!

I have to say my one time all favourite and still is , is from the Eagles.
    ONE OF THESE NIGHTS.
I also love VENTURA HIGHWAY AND SISTER GOLDENHAIR,WOMAN TONITE, And MUSKRAT LOVE from AMERICA.,ok there is not much I don't like from this group.
    WHO'S CRYING NOW by JOURNEY.

I have seen both these groups perform live, America funnily enough while I was in America, was heartbroken I could not afford to see them recently when they re-banded on NZ tour.

I have many more, but just cannot think of them right now, but these ones have special meanings, from my young days when Iwas extremely happy and having a ball.

I'm terrible at describing a genre of music, except for really obvious ones. Some refer to Guster as pop/rock. But, I don't know, really! You can check them out at www.guster.com and listen to a few of their tunes there. They are definitely worth that effort. They have great lyrics, they're very melodic with awesome harmonies. There used to be three members, and, they started off with just hand drums (congas and bongos, djembes, that kind of thing) and two guitars. They have four albums out now, and, they've progressed to a fuller sound. They added a fourth member (Joe Pisapia, who is INCREDIBLE) and have incorporated a lot of drum kit, instead of just hand percussion. Check them out and let me know what you think! They had me hooked pretty quickly just with cds, but, once you see them live, you're really done for!

    Thanks, Dogz!

Cat Factory you reminded me how much I used to love Neil young and Joe cocker, especially "she came in through the bathroom window, and I also enjoyed the B52"s.
