    Foods Toxic to Cats

Hi there. I posting this topic, which I'm sure has been through the forum before, because I have been searching for information on foods that are known to be toxic to cats.

In one of the other forums EileenKay mentioned that Onions were toxic and I was wondering if anyone knew of other foods?

...I was wondering if Citrus fruit was toxic to them as both my boys look at me with pure disgust if I ever try to offer it to them - but that, of course, could be just a personal preference of theirs

Although I can't say if citrus is toxic to cats, I do know that it is very unlikely that they would eat any, since, as you have found out by personal experience, most cats are revolted by the scent of citrus. I have a cat that actually gags if she smells it. The rest of them give me that look you've probably seen, Troy :
