    FINALLY finished! (picture)

I've been working on a cross-stitch project for my mom for quite awhile now. I kept getting lazy and leaving it untouched for months, so it took forever to complete. Tonight, I FINALLY finished it. FINALLY! I am so proud of myself. He he he.

I need to iron and frame it before giving it to my mom. She knows I was working on it, but hasn't seen it yet, so she has no idea what it looks like. What do you all think? Do you think she'll like it?

Great job Pops!! I do cross stitch too, so I can appreciate the HOURS that went into it!

That's a really lovely design - I'm sure your Mum will be thrilled.

I'm just starting a baby "birthdate" design for my soon-to-be-born niece, Amy Paris!

Someone on PT (I THINK Catnapper) has software to convert photos to cross-stitch patterns - maybe you could do the birdies next!

Thanks Kay for my great sig & avatar!!!

Done to perfection and such a nice thought to accompany the beauty of the scene. Your mom will treasure it.

oh wow!!! Thats just gorgeous!! Lovely!

My mother does cross-stitch and she once entered her 5 cross stitch things in the state fair and 2 won first prizes.... and the other 3 got honorable mention!

You should enter that in a contest/fair type thing! Ill bet it would win! That is just gorgeous!

That is beautiful PCB! I know your mom will treasure that always. My daughter and I have done many cross stitch projects and we both know how LONG it takes! My daughter made me one herself of a verse she found. She then plotted it out on graph paper and cross stitched it and I just love it. I will share the poem here with you in case you might like to do one for your mom.

Thank you for being there through all my childhood years,
For your easing of my hurts, Your comfort in my tears,
Thank you for believing in all that I could be,
And most of all I thank you just for loving me.

If you start now you can have it finished for next Mother's Day! LOL!

That's beautiful PCB - I recognise the amount of work that went into that gorgeous cross-stitch - your Mum is going to be thrilled.
As Debbie said - I bet she cries - I'd be 'dead chuffed' to get anything that personal. You're such a lovely girl.

Great job! There was a time when I was addicted in doing cross stitch. It was quite fun, but I haven't done that in a VERY LONG TIME. lol.
