Thanks again Ashley, but a mere letter seems so little in reality, still one has to have the beliefs that mine and others emails do indeed make a difference, otherwise what would be the point of anything.

PLEASE let me stress this is not about me or my feelings, except for my feelings about the plight of these dogs, and I am just happy to hear that indeed lots more letters were sent than I had knowledge of ,and for that I apologise to anyone who may have mis-understood what I was trying to say. I would never intentionally go out of my way to upset anyone else's feelings.

Just think how many more letter 10 is then 7 or 18 is then 15.

Without you, I wouldn't have sent a letter, Micki wouldn't have sent a letter and Karen would not have setn a letter.

See what you did! CONGRATULATIONS!! You not only sent in ONE letter but "you" sent in ( cat least) THREE letters!!

I didnt even know that Greece planned on poisoning the dogs,,,, was the email posted beofre I joined?? Where do I send my email... They could have at least done this in a more humane manner if they had to do it and saw no other choice,,, Man,, I feel sick now!!!!!

The unfortunate thing is, the rest of the world was left in the dark until just a few months before the opening of the Olympics. I too sent in my opinion, though it may have been way too late for most of the animals. I think it was going to be done whether we (the rest of the world) or anyone else had much say. What I'd really like to see now, is the flip side of the problem being televised. I'm sure Athens looks all nice and cleanly buffed free of dogs.

for the most part yes, all clean and buffed till last night's news on abc local channel 5. the announcer was all smiling and saying, "Oh Greece has a dog overpopulation problem, let's go there now!" then a woman saying, "Yes we steralized 1,500 dogs in the last few months..." then a new york woman saying "Aren't they cute, look how the stray dogs cross the streets with us like they can read the signal!" Back to announcer "Ha ha ha Athens has been helping dogs..." blah blah blah NOTHING REAL! I COULD NOT BELIEVE IT! When I started this thread my hands were shaking with disbelief and horror.. the lies....
