    Open Door Policy

What's a girl gotta do around here to get some fresh air? Look what they make me do! I have to SNAKE around the door to look out! Do they think I'm tiny and can slip in and out like the cats? hmph!

Then mommy gets the idea, opens the door wider and moves my bed into the doorway for me. Ahhh, that's better. but why does she inist on using that flashy box when all I want to do is enjoy the view?

SIGH.... summer is a good time of year. I like to watch the world go by....

Goodness Nicki!! I had no idea you had it so hard! I'll *try* to keep that door open as long as I can, but you know your cat brothers have trouble staying put on the balcony!

LOL what a cutie! The neighbors must be surprised to see such a pretty girl like her laying comfortably on her bed, hehe.

Mickey loves to just look outside. He loves to see from the upstais window and for him to see that, I need to lift up all 35 pounds of him! Nice and easy for him, meanwhile my legs are giving way and my veins are popping, LOL.

Such a gorgeous girl! I thought you had your mommy trained better than that... better step up the training!

Let me tell you Nicki, it's rough life for a PT dog I mean having to have your pictures taken all the time, getting to lay in the doorway (and on your bed to boot). I just don't know how you dogs do it

    Great pictures and captions!

You have to admit, she is pretty smart.
Not only is it cooler for her she can see
    the world go by.

Nicki, I love you more and more every time I see your sweet face. Tell those cats not to mess up the good deal you've got going. Looks like you're really enjoying the good life.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

Fur as dark as the night.
    Join me on this flight.
Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.
