    Excitement in the yard today!

Since the weather today was just about as perfect as it could possibly be, I spent quite a bit of time outside in the yard. Bella suddenly began barking at something in the woods behind my house. We have had a couple of skunk close calls so I shuddered to think what she had spied. Here is our scary critter.

Sorry that is a little blurry. I must have been shaking holding the camera! LOL! The next few are better.

Our little visitor, though hissing at Bella, was quite fond of me. Must have been my impression of a good *Meow.* Here's another shot as he/she allowed me to get closer.

Now I was able to get close enough to see that he/she was wearing a collar and was quite well fed! Yesiree, this kitty probably tipped the scales more than Trevor! Obviously was well fed and loved.

This was my last glimpse of my little friend. Bella continued to look at the woods for about 15 min. more wondering where her hissing friend had gone. This is an unusual sight in these parts as most everyone keeps their kitties inside but I quite enjoyed my little visitor today.

Ahhh... a pretty black plush kitty! Nicki would have gone running and pretendning she didn't see the visitor for fear we'd bring him in the house to gang up on her!

He or she is very pretty with that dark smoke fur and green eyes. I hope kitty's humans keep him or her inside most of the time.

What a gorgeous visitor you had! Beautiful fur and those eyes were stunning.
I was going to say that I wish I had visitors like that but I already do!!! Unfortunately mine aren't collared, well fed, and obviously loved. I would rather have visitors like yours. Especially such pretty ones!!

What a gorgeous cat and she does look well cared for. Maybe you'll see her around more.

Don't you just love it when you get a *visitor*? So good you had the camera handy. Such a pretty kitty!

Actually I had one the other day too (of the canine variety). My husband announced *There's a strange dog outside*, and despite the fact that I was still in my jammies; I, Hannah and Tucker rushed out to greet our visitor. I recognized *Sherman* from a previous visit and immediately went to pet (and talk to) her. From several houses down came her mom, leash in hand. She was still in her jammies too!

That kitty has such a 'gentle soul' kind of face. He/she is gorgeous.

Rachel- Tucker and Hannah are so cute! They look like quite a pair!
