Easy Way To Tire Out Dogs

What I've been doing to tire out Major at night is pretty easy. I fill a kong with some yogurt, peanut butter and cream cheese. I put one of those beefhide strips in there (easy to break in half, usually brownish red color) and then freeze it for a day or so.

Then I go outside and throw it far for Major. He runs after it, and I just walk to him and then throw it again, far, in the other direction. He ALWAYS chases it, unlike a stick or ball where I'm lucky to get 2 throws from him. The strip frozen in the middle helps him to not get at it so quickly.

    Just an idea.

My friend's mom used to put her dogs on a treadmill. Laziest dang thing that I've ever seen!

But now that she's lost 150 lbs, she's into excercising, so she walks them all the time.

    Thank you Wolfie!
