Your Daily Routine?

Ive overslept my alarm and woke up at 6:40 and had to be out the door at 6:55....I did it and didn't dress like a moron either!! and I was CLEAN! Guess the Army teaches you that...

Well, a musician's lifestyle is considerably different.


Up at 8:30am.(husband-11:00-noonish)

Feed kittens upstairs, then feed residents. Feed me. Check Email. PetTalk, etc. Clean up me. House chores.

Now, if it is a work at home day, it consists of three segments. Work on writing music/proofreading *from 10:00am- 1:00 Feed kittens. Feed me. Clean boxes.

Write music from 2:00pm-5:00pm. Feed us. Feed kittens. Feed residents.

Resume writing music 7:00-12 midnight, longer as necessary. Feed kittens.
Snack residents.

Try to be in bed by 1am. (husband 3am, later if he's embroiled on the computer)

*writing music is a paying, deadline oriented business for me.


Now, if it is a 'gig' * day,

Up at 8:30am, continue with regular routine. Depending on what time we (husband too) leave for the gig, I get in a nap.
Typically leave for gig anywhere between 9:30am and 2:00 pm.
We get home anywhere between 2am and 7am(the following day)
Then we feed the cats and sleep for 8 hours.

* performance in the band.


We can have several days when we're 'turned around' by 'gigs' and several where we're home and on a more normal schedule. Basically, it equates to either being on 'afternoons' or 'midnights.'

We get a neighbor or petsitter for visits when we are going to be gone too long for whatever cats we may have at the moment.


Now, anyone want to trade with me? (I sure don't want to get up so early like you all )

0719 Wake up

0720 Constrict owner's chest

0725 Eat Temptations

0739 Get some loving before dad leaves

0741 go back to sleep.

0742-1814 Eat, poop, drink and knock stuff over.

1814- wake up and go to the door.

1815 Cry like someone is torturing me

1817 Eat Temptations

1818-1828 Get underfoot.

1829 Win the recliner.

2206 Win a spot on the bed

2230-0719 Play, screw around and listen to dad yell, "STOP IT"
all night long....

I won't post my routine because much of it is sitting in from of PT at the computer!!

I do that too, except on slow days I get PAID to sit in front of PT tehehehe
