    Looking for talented cats!

Does your cat play the piano? Sing along with the radio? Fetch your slippers? Have a pet of its own? ANYTHING like the above? I am a story producer for a show on the Animal Planet Network and I am always looking for quirky pet stories. If you know of one, please contact me at my e-mail address:
    [email protected]
    Thanks!

Puca can work out how to get her ball if it gets stuck behind the kitchen door. She sits you can see her thinking, the she goes into the kitchen and pushes out through the crack in the door on that side. She also has worked out a fway to get into the food cupboard, which is mounted high on the wall. we had to get a lock for it! Harry climbs on the dryer to open the fridge, we got to be very quick for him or he'll be in there. Willow actually plays fetch fwith a milk carton ring.

My cat Giddeon fetches his toys like a dog. If he wants to play, he'll put his toy in his mouth and cry and search around for one of us to play fetch. When he finds me, he'll drop the toy (usually his toy mouse)at my feet and I'll pick it up and throw across the room. He'll run and get it and bring it back. He'll let me know when he's tired of playing because he'll put the toy down and lay on it.

Once I accidently threw the toy mouse and it landed on the dining room table in a full cup of water. He searched and searched and when he finally found it in the tall, non-transparent plastic cup, he squeezed his head in the cup and grabbed the mouse with his jaws and pulled it out soaking wet. He was so proud that he brought it all the way back to me me sloshing water all over the floor. But hey, he didn't spill the cup of water! I was thoroughly impressed!

This isn't much, but if a piece of Boogie's food falls out of his bowl, he will fish it out with his paws. He also acts like a dog- such as chewing on sticks, rolling over, and other things most dogs do.
Here is a picture of him:

    Thanks!

My cat, Maddie, wakes me up for work at 6:30 every morning. I don't need an alarm clock.
She will sit for a treat.
And she is a watch cat; she listens for everything and goes to the door if she hears anything strange, like she is going to attack whatever comes in.

Annibelle, that is too funny! If my Butter is inside at night, then I don't need an alarm clock either. He wakes me up at 5:45 or 5:46, never fails!!! But I put him outside and go back to bed!!!! He has also learned, like my Mimi, to come to the window of whatever room I'm in and yell until I let him inside! Sometime they are too smart for their own good!
