Ricky is going back to Vets

I have to take Ricky back to the Vet's this morning. The hole that healed from his anal sac abcess is open again and obviously infected again.
He has been on antibiotics for over 3 weeks but I guess it wasn't enough. He is not happy and seems to detect that he is going to the Vet's. He used to love going to the Vets but these (leave over and cough) type exam stess him to no end. (sorry, didn't mean to make a pun there)

Ricky is on a stronger antibiotic now and back on the ointment that has to be injected into the wound (oh such fun)
One good thing is his diet is working, he lost 6 ounces.

Oh dear. I do hope the little fellow can get through this, and soon! I know that for both of your sakes, he needs to heal!!! Prayers for Ricky's recovery are still being sent.

Poor Little Ricky. I am so sorry to hear that he needs more meds to get him back to normal. It just doesn't seem fair for him to have go through such a rough spot. Both Hannah and Tucker send their love to the Rickster.

He is still plugging away. We have an appointment with the Vets this Saturday.

Ricky's Vet was pleased with his progress and although we won't have to put the ointment in the wound anymore, he will be on the antibiotic pills for another week just to be on the safe side. Mostly, Vet says he wants to avoid surgery. We do too.
