Ok, we will be out of town for Sadie's birthday, but I have written a little something for my baby girl. She will be turning 8 years old.
8 years ago tomorrow, an angel was born. I had asked my dad for a puppy, and he said "yes"! At the time we had another Lab, named Teal, a great dog, who passed on in 2000. So, we looked in the newspaper, and found a litter of Lab pupsso we went to the breeders house, nice house, saw the parents good looking dogs. I was only six at the time so I just sat down right there on the floor with the puppies. And then this sweet little black bouncy puppy comes right up to meand layed down right next to me, this was the one! There was another yellow Lab pup named Lizzie, who would unite you shoelace she was so hyper! So we got Sadie May. She is a great dog, and I love her soooo much. And in 5 doyas, my baby girl, will be 8 years old. I love her so much. She is such a sweetheart. Happy Birthday, Sadie, I love you!
