I've been asking alot of questions about boxer alergies and how they found out on a boxer forum I go to and alot of them suggested raw diet.
Does anyone here feed raw diet?
I wouldn't know where to start, is it more expensive?

I don't know a lot about it, but try doing a search here on Pet Talk--there have been a few discussions about it.
I believe binka nugget used to feed a raw diet, maybe she can answer some of your questions.

I think Cali feeds raw to all of her dogs too. There's quite a few others.
I personally would never feed that diet. But thats just me, I'm sure it works fine for others.
I feed my puppy a raw diet. My dog that passed away in June was about 13 when I put him on the raw diet and it completely changed him when I did. He went from an old dog with no energy that could barely get around to a happy, peppy, full of energy dog again. It was amazing! I will never feed anything but a homemade diet. Just do lots of research. I'm actually still learning myself!
Thanks, Dogz!

I used to feed it. I don't anymore because I had a little scare with a bone and got really paranoid so I stopped to do more research and ask more vets.
Alot of people with dogs with allergies feed this diet and have no problems at all. Read as much as you can about it. And also, look for some bad things about the diet so you can know more about the diet. I know of some people who have researched for 4 years before switching..there's alot to learn.
When we fed it, we saved more money. Not much but, we still saved. Some people do end up paying alot more for this diet but if you're a really good shopper, you could feed this diet with very minimal costs. We paid $4 a week for premade meats and veggies (for two dogs), a dollar or two a week for daily bones and a couple more dollars for organs.Originally posted by DogLover9501
