    OMG Piper is absolutely beautiful!!!!!

    You know, I've always said that when I retire I'm getting a dog, but seeing all these gorgeous birdie pics, I'm starting to think about a tiel, but I need to do a lot, and I mean a lot, of research regarding their lifespan (since I'll be 65....). Well, I've got 14 years to think about it.

    Hehe, you could always get both.
    Cockatiels make great pets. I'm sure PCB could give you some great advice. If she doesn't make it back to this thread, you could try PMing her. Feel free to ask any questions.

    You would loooooove your birdie if you got one! They are so much fun!

    Cockatiels can easily live 20-30 years, so most do live quite long..........but you will still be young at 65, and hopefully still have a long way to go........right?

    Beautiful birdie! I went over to the neighbors house down the street, for a little while today, (they have a trampoline, I LOVE trampolines!!) and they have a beautiful teil, I forget his name.
