Switching Micah to a new food...

Not that I don't LOVE grinding fresh meat and chicken liver for my dear boy...but we found raw food already made!! Woohoo!!! Its going to be soooooo much easier to feed my little ragamuffin!

This is the link to what we found locally: http://www.stevesrealfood.com/html/cat_chicken.html

We also found that Newman's Own now makes organic, humane cat food!! (Pet Food, to be more accurate) We decided to swich Micah over to that as well. So far, I've only added a few kibbles, but he must like it because those are the ones he eats first and proceeds to lick his bowl clean!

    Here's a link to their site: http://www.newmansownorganics.com/pet/home/index.php
I LOVE Newman's Own because they are organic and give all proceeds to charity. What a great company. Check out the "whats in our food and what's not" page...its really informative! Even the chicken raised for the food (for people and animals) are treated humanely!

    ...RIP, our sweet Gini...

I am SO glad Paul Newman has branched out into animal products. All his Newman's Own products for humans are pretty darn good!

That sounds wonderful but I couldn't get any listing for the state of Kentucky or Indiana. I'm sure it is more money than I can afford to feed nine but I was going to check into the canned food. Guess not!!
It does sound good and the fact that all the proceeds go to charities is wonderful!!

I just saw a story on the local news about food last week.

They interviewed some of the people at the company. While you can't really tell anything from a 30 second interview, they seemed nice.

Anyway, I hope that Micah does well on the new food. I am sure that it will save you some time.

Micah really likes his new food. The litterbox looks great too. Yay!

I showed the Newman's Own food to my vet and she said the ingredients looked good. That made me feel better.

I have seen this brand "Steves" raw food at the local natural pet food store. They sell out of the cat food very quickly. everytime I go, they only have the dog food in stock. I thought about getting this as a treat for my cats. They are so darn picky though.
I am glad Micah is enjoying his new food.

Kim, I love my signature! Thanks!
