It's not uncommon for me to come home to strays....but this is to much!!

I'm almost use to coming home and finding a drop off in my yard, cats and dogs. Well yesterday was a first, as I'm coming down my lane I see this blocking my parking area.

You know you live out in the country when you have to deal with stray cows. lol Even my dogs are not supprised by this, you'll notice my Tuffys tail in the picture, just walking by as if it was no big deal that we had a cow in the road. He use to new strays, I guess.

We called the police, they came out, but really had no way of hauling him off, so intill they find out who he belongs to he's living with my goats.

    Anyone lose a cow? lol

That's too funny. I guess you can't "beef" about it

Wasn't there a commercial out long ago about

    "Where's the beef????"

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

Yeah he looks well cared for, but if you look at his hind leg you can see where he got hurt, jumping a fence, I guess. It's a pretty deep cut and he wont let me get close enough to take care of it.

I just hope they find what ranch he came from.......before I turn him into a pet.

    LOL no kids.

Maybe he just knew this would be a safe place to go to. Thats what my husband always says about any stray we find, that there some animal hotline and our address is where they are all sent to.

    He's a fine looking bull!

Maybe he's new to town, and just saying hi to the neighbours!

Yep, we get loose cows all the time. This is funny. Yesterday, I had an officer looking for(I should say listening) loud music. He didn't find the music but there was an elephant in the area! That's got to be a first

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

We have some of those come up in our yard some times! More than stray cats or dogs! They are kind of cute, but if you hug a cow they get green slobber all over you.

Wow, that must have been a shocker. LOL
    That's funny.
For some reason I don't see the second picture, but I hope you are able to find his owner and they take care of the gash on his leg.

That has to be the most unusual stray story that I have seen here. He must have called the animal hotline and gotten your number.

Sorry, but that is too funny. I hope that they find the owners soon. I am pretty sure that they will, he looks like a bull that someone would miss.

I am almost positive that he got that gash from jumping over or through a fence. Almost all the bulls that I have every worked with loved to tear down fences. I think that is a hobby for most of them.
